Culpeper County Parks & Recreation is once again hosting and organizing the 6th Annual Culpeper Century.
This bike ride is fast becoming a tradition boasting great scenic beauty and paved road riding in Culpeper County in the most colorful season – Fall!
You can choose between 33 miles, 65 miles, or the ultimate challenge 100 miles of countryside roads.
This ride will benefit the Culpeper Recreation Foundation as they strive to achieve their mission of promoting recreation in Culpeper County. Your registration fee will go towards expenses related to trails, athletic fields, concession stands and scoreboards.
Rest stops are offered approximately every 20 miles. Each rest stop will have food, water, restrooms, and first aid kits.
Box Lunches will be provided by Tropical Smoothie Café of Culpeper for the 65 & 100mile participants.
SAG vehicles will be monitoring the route throughout the day and will provide assistance as needed, including rides to the finish if necessary.
**New 100 Mile Route this year**
For safety, the 100-mile course will be bypassing the Syria & Criglersville area due to Graves Mtn Lodge extending their Apple Harvest Festival, to include this first weekend of October.
Difficulty: 33 mile – Easy; 65 & 100 mile – Moderate
Helmets are REQUIRED!!!
