This “Taste & Tour” Ride will offer two rides, and appropriate for cyclists of all abilities.  We will be offering both a shorter (20 mile) route and a longer (42 mile) route.  After the ride, Early Mountain will welcome all cyclists and their guests back for lunch where you can sample wines from Early Mountain and their Best of Virginia collection.  All registered riders will receive a discount on food compliments of Early Mountain.

Although this is the shorter of the two routes, don’t be fooled, while the roads of Madison don’t have any real sustained climbs they do offer some short, steep hills. This 20 miler is perfect for anyone that wants a little challenge but still be back in time for lunch.

This great route, features some of Madison, VA’s finest roads and sure to help you work up an appetite. This ride is on mostly rolling terrain, but there are a few short, moderately steep “kickers” in there.  There are even two climbs, but they are all fairly tame, each with a length of about 1.25 miles and and average gradient of about 2.5%.
