The Early Mountain Vineyard tasting room is unlike any you’ve seen. The building and surrounding grounds are just stunning and rivals the views and scenery of Sonoma. Once inside their tasting room you’re greeted with an elegant, cozy space that encourages you to relax and take in their great food and even better wines. Early Mountain’s outdoor spaces are simply put, breath-taking. With an outdoor terrace and adjoining picnic area, you are encouraged to take a seat and enjoy the surrounding beauty.
Early Mountain’s wines are distinctly Virginian, with a classic, refined elegance that makes them quite approachable. Just one look across the vineyard and you see their commitment to biodiversity and sustainable farming. And while Early Mountain’s wines are wonderful, they also serve their “Best of Virginia” collection, which features some of the best wines coming out of Virginia.
The experience doesn’t stop with the wine. Inside is The Marketplace that showcases local food, beverages and other hand-selected artisanal products. Their knowledgable star are local food experts and will guide you through a range of delicious food options, whether you’re looking for a great salad or an unbelievable sandwich, The Marketplace features a full range of lighter bites, which are perfect for sharing.
