Culpeper Cycling Joins Ride Ambassador Program

A few months ago, our friends at contacted us to tell us about a new “ambassador” program they were launching and once we heard the details we knew we just had to be involved!! The RwGPS Ambassador program will feature a network of “ride ambassadors” that will be responsible for advocating, curating and showcasing great cycling experiences in the United States. Since this is something that Culpeper Cycling has been doing all along we felt it was the perfect expansion of our program.

Through the use of the website, will be building and curating, hand-selected rides that start and end in and around Culpeper.  These routes will feature detailed cue sheets, photos and extensive write-ups of each route so cyclists can “know before they go”, everything about the ride.  Also many of our routes will also highlight many of the great pre and post ride activities in and around Culpeper.

Starting today, we have launched our RwGPS Ambassador page which features the first four of our most favorite routes including:

So keep an eye out here or on our Ambassador page for new rides, but in the meantime if you want event more suggested routes just head on over to our Ride Library page. And if you have any suggestions for rides you would like us to feature on our Ambassador page just give us a shout!!

  1. Would love to know the best road cycling route from Mt. Vernon to Culpeper. My husband and I are cycling across America and picking up the TransAm route in Charlottesville. Thanks for your help!

    1. That’s a tough one since many of the roads from Mt Vernon towards Culpeper are quite congested. Most of the cyclists around here tend to not get further North than Warrenton nor further East than Lignum since the roads get quote congested further out.
