Bike Stop Culpeper Now Thirty Eight North

For the last several years, proprietors Eric & Robin Robinson have been the owners of Bike Stop – Culpeper, but as their business has grown, so has their product offerings. The result of two people who strive for adventure and the quest to “choose-your-own-adventure”, Bike Stop Culpeper has now become Thirty Eight North! This new name better reflects the new nature of the shop “to bring a little variety to your outdoor experience.”

38NorthStorefrontWhile Thirty Eight North remains loyal to their roots as a bicycle shop, they now also carry a complete line of outdoor adventure products including, Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP) by Bote, an extensive range of skateboards, Rome snowboards, and Santa Cruz surfboards.   Owners Eric & Robin have promised that “when you visit our shop, you never know what kind of an adventure it may lead to.”

As experienced adventurists and traveler, their team brings a “worldwide experience of adventure travel” to little ole Culpeper having surfed in Baja, paddled the Grand Canyon, and downhill mountain biked in Chang Mai, Thailand. And locally they are experts as well helping their customers share the same joy of adventure, whether it’s paddling the Rappahannock River, stand-up paddleboarding at Mountain Run Lake and Lake Anna, or learning to mountain bike at Burke Farm or Preddy Creek Trails. We can also guide you to SUP yoga classes, and beautiful, scenic road rides.

Their shop is a hidden gem, tucked away in the back of the building of the old Bike Stop building; the small entrance leads to a world full of big adventures. So stop by and say “Hello” to Eric & Robin and check out the new shop and great outdoor gear.
