Want to stay up to date on the latest ride announcements? Maybe you want to host your own ride and invite other cyclists to join you? Well now you can with the Culpeper Cycling Rides Forum!
There are many impromptu, unorganized rides that happen in and around Culpeper and in the past everyone maintained their own email list of people to invite. But that required a lot of manual maintenance and often new people were left off those ride announcements.
If you haven’t already been notified that you are signed up for the Ride Forum, just click the Ride Forum link in the menu above. Once there, click the Sign Up button to register and join the forum.
Once you are confirmed and activated, you will get email alerts of any ride that is posted to the forum. After that you don’t even have to go to the website to post rides. Just send an email to [email protected] and it will post your email to the forum AND send an email notification to everyone.
Even replies are simple too, just reply to your email (or reply on the website topic) and replies will be emailed to everyone. You can interact with our ride forum any way you want, email or website.
One more thing, if you are planning on a gravel (mixed surface) ride, you can post that ride to the Gravel category or send an email to [email protected].
Hopefully, this will make ride announcements easier for all…. and even if you don’t have a ride planned and just want to see if anyone is around to join you for a ride, go ahead and post it there… you never know what new friends will join you.
